Is there anywhere that has wireless in Davis for free? I'm willing to buy coffee and eat pasteries all evening. I need to meet with a friend and go over some work and I'd rather not go to the library. Any ideas?

Is that the new breakfast place that replaced Carberry's on Elm Street, right after the road becomes 2-directional again? I think that place has free wireless, as an attraction for new customers.

O'Naturals

Yes, O'Naturals is the place that replaced Carberry's. It's a cute little new chain that has four locations so far: Acton MA, Portland ME, one other places in Maine, and now Davis Square. I was really surprised when I found this out, because I first knew them through Dean meetups. The Dean meetup in Acton meets there, and a while after that started, I looked up the Dean meetup in Portland and saw that they met at an O'Naturals, and I assumed something that has locations in Acton and Portland must have a lot of locations, but no. The founder of O'Naturals was one of the people who founded Stonyfield Farms, and was a big Dean supporter so they were very welcoming to the meetups.

Just a 10 minute stroll away from the hubbub of Davis is True Grounds, with free wifi, tasty treats and coffee, comfy seating, good music and a cool vibe.

FYI: Right now True Grounds closes at 7:00pm so if you are looking for a late night place, this isn't it.

But it does have tasty treats!

Just be aware that True Grounds closes fairly early -- 7 or 8 depending what night you go. Not *that* early, too, but no Starbucks-'til-11 either.

As far as I know the Library wifi hasn't worked in a while.
Ok, I might be lying, I haven't actually tried it in about 3 months.
But it didn't work from last July until January, so I kind of doubt it is now.
