Where: 155 Powder House Blvd. (basement of Clarendon Hill Presbyterian Church)
Who: Kids, adults, and curious people
Cost: $5 suggested donation (depending on how much we have, and how much you want to take home)
We'll also be running our regularly scheduled open shop hours, so if you have anything you'd like to solder, motorize, attach to a balloon, or otherwise work on, we'll be here!
Every Saturday we open up our shop, from 12:00 p.m. to 3 p.m. to families and other curious folks who want to come in, look around, and make something (or make something happen!) We’ll have a few projects around, and spend the afternoon building and hanging out together. People are encouraged to come to open shop with projects and ideas of their own that they’d like to work on and explore, but we’ll always have something in mind to get you started if you’re suffering from maker’s block.
Last weekend we took apart a computer, motorized a hand-crank blender, and had some fun with dry ice. This weekend, who knows?
