Cape Cod Farming/Camping Weekend (Oct 7-9)

There are still a few spots available on theMOVE's upcoming weekend work trip to Bay End Farm in Buzzards Bay.

This is an amazing invitation to visit the home and farm of Kofi Ingersoll and Erin Koh!  Two days out of the grind, getting into the farmwork, eating crazy-fresh meals right off the land, hanging out with amazing people.  It's an unforgettable + unique experience, and a lot of our past weekend participants have said it was the highlight of their summer or year. 

Trip Fee: $80 for nonmembers, $70 for members.  Includes transportation (via carpool), accommodations (including tents if you do not have your own), and meals.  Half-scholarships are available for those unable to afford the full trip cost – please email Erica at erica@getoutma.org to request one.

Camping: We will be camping at the farm, which has access to a restroom, a shower, and drinking water. We’ll sleep in in double/quad tents.

Your image links are all broken. When I try to display the images in a new window, Google tells me my Gmail account is unavailable (huh??). Could you either delete the image links or fix them, and in any event put them behind an lj-cut? Thanks.

I don't get it. You're asking people to pay $80 to work for a weekend? And not just light volunteer stuff... heavy, manual labor? Am I missing something here?

Seriously! I need to send this to my relatives on their farm, so they can laugh their asses off start underbidding these people. "We'll let you harvest our corn for only $40!"
