I've been meaning to ask this for weeks, and I havn't seen anyone ask it here, so I'll assume that everyone but me already knows, but why are the T-maps covered in the station? It's in every station I've looked at, but it's only the maps that are on the walls on the other side of the tracks, not the ones that are in the area that people walk...

anyone know?

I haven't noticed this in any of the stations I've been in, lately; I've been on trains on the red, blue and orange lines. Which stations are you seeing this at?

That would be a very good thing, then.

The maps on the far walls of the Davis platform, at least, the ones on the inbound side, were still the old angular "spider" maps without the Silver Line. No idea why they've been left covered for so long, unless somebody expected the replacements to be in sooner.
