Free TV near Ball Square

I put a 21" Magnavox tv out on the curb by 78 Prichard Avenue if anyone is interested.  It's heavy, so you'd probably need two people or a car to cart it off.  It's about 8 years old, and the remote is taped to the top.  It works fine, although for its entire life there was kind of a glowing green patch around the left side of the screen when it was on.

You will get fined by the city if no one takes it, fyi. You need to buy a disposal sticker. You can't just leave things TVs on the curb.

You don't have to 'buy' a disposal sticker, but you do need to call 311 at least 24 hours in advance of trash pickup day. (Until then, I doubt that the city cares one way or the other)

Of course, now that I've alerted 311 of the tv to be picked up tomorrow, what happens if someone comes along and takes it off the curb overnight?

They'll just go by. People take stuff from the curbs all the time, the trash collectors expect it.

Or, alternatively, put it in front of the house of that neighbor who plays their music too loud on Sunday morning or who's dog craps on your lawn ;-)
