More freebies. This time, no birds.
Nov. 18th, 2011 06:57 pmRestaurant.com has a thing where you can give free $10 gift certificates to restaurants to your friends, family, and strangers. There is usually a minimum purchase to use the certificates, so you have to be willing to spend a fair bit at these restaurants to begin with, but the certificates can save folks some money.
There are several participating restaurants in Somerville, and Mike's Pizza, right in Davis, is one. (And many more in the Boston area as a whole, too.)
Go here to register and start giving folks certificates. (I'm guessing that there will be some spam associated with this process, so keep that in mind when giving these things to people. :-)
(On a side note, there's apparently a new restaurant over on Washington Street called "Potato Freak". OK...)
EDIT: Rudy's, House of Tibet (in Teele), and Diva are listed too.
