"Good holiday news for Red Line riders & First Night fans. All MBTA Red Line trains will be running as regularly scheduled on both Christmas weekend (Dec. 24 & 25) & New Years weekend (Dec. 31 & Jan. 1). Weekend repairs & replacement shuttle buses will resume Jan. 7 & 8 and continue weekends through March 4."
