PSA: Sycamore St. Bridge Renovation

For those who did not attend tonight's meeting at the Winter Hill Community School, renovation of the Sycamore St. Bridge is expected to begin June 1st and continue through December. Sycamore St. will be closed to through traffic from Willoughby to Richdale; do not expect to use Sycamore to get from Highland to Medford street, you'll have to use Central. Willoughby's traffic will be reversed to accomodate residents trying to get out of the neighborhood. There will be no pedestrian access over the bridge until approximately October.

The contractors are predicting at least two nights of demolition work over the train tracks, but this may change. Flyers notifying local residents of evening work will in theory be distributed before blasting takes place.
