In search of Chinese paper lanterns

Oh great and wise Davis Square LJ-

Does any one have any suggestions for where to buy paper lanterns? We're thinking the larger sizes (16", 20", 24") not the smaller stringed ones. I have found them online for quiet cheap, but the shipping ends up being more than the lanterns when all is said and done. I've done a quick search and it doesn't appear that Michael's, Joann's, or ACMoore carries them. I know Chinatown will have them, and will probably make a trip there this weekend, but wanted to see if anyone else had any suggestions? In the past we have gotten them at China Fair, but they don't have them anymore.

Any suggestions?

Mass Ave near Hancock: The Door Store. Great selection!

just in case anyone is curious, I called the Door Store. They do have the lanterns, and they range in price from $11-$25, not including light/cord (which is another $15). So while i'm sure it is great quality (better than i'll get online), it's much more expensive then what I've found online (between $1.20-$3.00 per lantern). So, even with the shipping, it's much cheaper to go online.

But i'm totally going to check out the Door Store anyway, because they do have cool stuff. :)

We got a big one at Pier 1 in Porter several years ago. They were tucked away in a corner of the store. It's possible they don't have them any more, but if you don't see them, make sure you ask someone. They were not easy to find.

We were looking at that online, but since we are Zipcar dependent, it's really pretty expensive to make a trip to Ikea just for $2 paper lanterns. At that point, we'd just order them online and pay the shipping. But thanks!
