very, very miscellaneous free stuff
Mar. 20th, 2012 05:52 pmI'm cleaning out my art studio and have a very random collection of stuff to give away. My studio is in mid-town (behind City Hall) or I can leave stuff on my porch up near Davis. I need to be out of that space by the end of the week, so please let me know if any of this appeals soon. Thanks!
email miss_chance@livejournal.com to arrange to take any or all of it by this weekend. Priority goes to the people who will take the most stuff and will make pick-up logistics easy for me.
Thanks!

-one and a half bags of "waste paint hardener" (toss it in old paint, mix it up, throw the hardened mess in the trash)
-a tub of "super blond" dried shellac flakes
-a pint of appropriate solvent
-shiny, satiny pink fabric (used to be a dress, but then I cut it up to use parts of the fabric)
-two sheets of insulating foam: 3/4" x 48" x 42"
-one roll of black tar roofing paper, partially used (artists: this is great stuff to paint on with acrylic paint; requires no priming or prep; not good for use with children though, as it is tar and thus not non-toxic)
-Drafting Chair; it lists a little to one side (the seat seams to have compressed somehow?); maybe you can fix it, or maybe it won't bother you like it bothers me.
-three "cheaters" (grounded to two-prong adapters)
-three cans of Badger air-brush propellant, including adapter; a bottle of air-brush cleaning fluid
-a block of beeswax
-two 4" black rubber brayers, one single one double (turns out you can, in fact, have too many brayers)
-small bag of various grades of artist canvas, various sizes
-a few pads of various newsprint papers
-four large soft-rubber casters (two fixed, two swivel)
-three EMPTY plastic power tool cases; one each for DeWalt trim-saw, Porter Cable detail sander, Dremel multitool with accessories. Again, these boxes are EMPTY, but could be really cool lunch, toy, or hobby boxes, or something
-MYSTERY GRAB BAG of even more miscellaneous small stuff (includes some drill bits and saw blades new in packages, some hinges, mending braces... really random stuff. Take the whole bag.

Date: 2012-03-20 09:59 pm (UTC)(plus it's handy to have for multi-color inking, or to use one for inking and one for burnishing)
I'll bring them home and put them out late tonight.
