“Under the Roof” Benefit To Help Somerville Homeless

Support affordable housing and community involvement and enjoy a lively event in Somerville, Apr. 21st.



The Somerville Homeless Coalition’s (SHC) “Under the Roof” annual benefit dinner will be held once again at Arts at the Armory, recognizing over 27 years of support of the non-profit organization.

Festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m., with an open bar and a chance to browse auction items, followed shortly by dinner by popular Somerville barbecue restaurant Redbones, dancing, and an awards ceremony and other SHC partners.

We are also still in need of volunteers for the event.

AFTERNOON SHIFT, 2:30pm-6:30pm (typically). (Ages 16+) This shift will be for set-up before the event begins.

EVENING SHIFT, 6:30pm-10:30pm (typically). (Ages 16+) This shift will be for tasks during the event. (i.e. clearing tables, ushering attendees, helping with registration, parking etc.)

Hiya! Do you know if childcare is provided for this event? I called the SHC office to find out, but noone answered.
