Bicycle Tour of Somerville Parks - Sunday, May 20

This year's Bicycle Tour of Historic Somerville will focus on the city's parks -- past, present, and future. Many of them used to be something other than parks. Ride with us to find out more.

We'll meet on Sunday, May 20 at 2pm at Somerville City Hall, departing promptly at 2:15. The ride will be slow-paced and easy, ending around 4:30 pm. Please bring a $3 donation to support the activities of the Somerville Historic Preservation Commission, which is co-sponsoring the ride with the Somerville Bicycle Committee.

This event is part of Bay State Bike Week (and is probably the week's last event).

I was told that runners are welcome to this -- Ron, can you confirm or deny this?

Also, are there water fountains along the way? I'll probably want to refill my water bottle once or twice if I'm running this.

Can we park at Somerville City Hall? Not that I particularly mind running from/to Porter Square, but hey, I'm lazy. ;) :)

Runners are welcome if you can keep up.
I don't know about water fountains.
Park at City Hall or on any side street (but why not bike there?)
