Flea market starting in Davis Square - June 3 and every Sunday through October

The Davis Flea market starts this Sunday, June 3, and will be open every Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm through the end of October. It will be in the city parking lot at the corner of Holland Street and Buena Vista Road, next to Harvard Vanguard.

According to their website, "The Davis Flea features vendors of antique, vintage, and unique collectables in an open air market. Our purpose is to curate the highest quality of reused, repurposed, and recycled wares for you to explore."

This is extremely cool! Is this its first year? I'd heard nothing of it before. I wish it weren't quite so pricey to vend; my art would fit into their category of "repurposed."

Hmm! That is a good idea, but the only person I can think of offhand who is local, a friend, and makes art from recycled stuff is Bridget Matros (http://www.bridgetmatros.com/), and she's about to move away. If any artists are reading this who might like to join forces, email me.
