please make it stop
Jun. 28th, 2012 05:16 pmI haven't lived in Somerville for about 4 years now and yet I am STILL getting text messages from bbconnect. I have emailed their address, texted them back -- over and over and over -- and yet they keep coming.
What the heck kind of elaborate ritual must I perform to have them stop sending me these text messages?
[edit] alllll set, thanks to the marvelous Tom Champion!

And if that doesn't work, my next step would be to call Somerville City Hall at 617-625-6600 and ask for Tom directly.

Date: 2012-06-28 10:37 pm (UTC)I'm sorry you haven't been able to get dropped from the distribution list. Most of the time we get it done on the first request. 311 can take the info over the phone. (As Ron correctly notes, it's 617-666-3311 from outside Somerville.)
But if you'd prefer, you can go here to send me an email (http://www.somervillema.gov/departments/communications/press) with your phone number and I will personally scrub the database.
