Auto Mechanic! I'm on highland ave, near the hospital, and since I'll be walking home, places close to davis square would be great.

Any suggestions?

I've used Fred Hubble Gulf a number of times--they're up Highland next to the antique/consignment store, close to Willow. They've done good work, though they did want to keep the dying car running forever (okay, it was a cool car and the engine was in great shape, but the body was badly rusted.) Cheap? I dunno, I have little comparison. IMO, car repairs are NEVER cheap.

Still, I would recommend Fred Hubble Gulf for doing good work in a timely fashion, and being a very easy walk from the hospital area.
