After dismantling a failed koi pond/garden bed in the backyard of our recently purchased house, I have a ton of nice, flat, slate rock to give away. However, I would prefer not to give it away piecemeal to individual people - I tried this via the Somerville Loves Urban Gardening FB group, and while there was lots of interest, it was disruptive to my day to meet several folks individually (and I don't just want to advertise my address and have strangers tromping through my yard, especially since I am keeping *some* of the rock).

Any suggestions on how I can offload this slate in bulk?

I could take that off your hands, as well. (Or share the full burden with @lyonesse.)

Er...if you have tiny leftover chunks, I'd take them for my fish tank? Because this is a helpful communication that I'm sending.

Are you in the NY/NJ metro area?
I will p/u the rock, minus what you are keeping.
