Bestsellers Cafe opening

I know it's not right in Davis Square, but Bestsellers Cafe in Medford Square reopened for business at 7a.m. this morning. (Everyone loves local bookstore news, right?) Since they've been closed for several years, they have some old books that they want to clear out at, I think, 20-80% discount. They serve coffee, tea, pastries, and sandwiches. The official grand opening is August 11-12, but they are open 7 days per week starting this morning. The Facebook page is here https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bestsellers-Cafe/118454511526675. You can take the 96 or 94 bus from Davis Sq. to Medford Sq.

Do you happen to know their hours? They are not on the Facebook page.

They were open 7am to 8pm yesterday, I think. And today I think it's 7am to 6pm. I can check again tomorrow for the weekend hours, as they are posted out front.

The town approved them to open as late as 11pm, practically unheard of in Medford Sq. aside from restaurants. However, Rob says they are not going to be open that late to start.

- MTWF 7am-6pm
- Th 7am-8pm
- SS 9am-5pm

I was a fan before they closed and I just went back in today. Looks better than ever--definitely worth the trip from Davis! (Medford Square's new motto: I swear we're not all banks any more.)

Hilarious! That is so true about the banks! Glad the store has reopened; I enjoyed going there before it closed and it's always nice to have an independent bookstore AND cafe around.
