iYO cafe now open in Davis Square

iYO cafe opened in Davis Square yesterday, in the location that formerly housed Farmer's Bounty. I stopped in a few minutes ago for some yummy tart frozen yogurt. In addition to the extensive offering of frozen yogurt, they carry waffles, smoothies, coffee, and pastry.

My family visited tonight, and we're very excited about this new addition to Davis Square! They offer a great variety of both frozen yogurt flavors and toppings. Also, they have a meeting/party room - which, while they wait to get a table delivered, is empty (but has a giant chalkboard wall).

Do you know whether they only have the tart kind that actually tastes like yogurt, or if they have the sweet kind as well?

I was there this afternoon, and there were 12 flavors, with a variety of tart and sweet, some fruit flavors and some more ice-cream type flavors. I had sea salt caramel and espresso, and I also remember seeing an original tart, Tahitian vanilla, orange and pomegranate flavors. Clearly there were others, but I don't recall what they were.

Thank you so much! I went today and it was AMAZING. The cookies n' creme/espresso twist was delicious. I love that they have a ton of inside space too, unlike JP Licks. There's a similar shop in NYC called 16 Handles, which I visit every time I go back, so this makes me really happy.

The space is gigantic! Who knew that the little fruit market was that big inside? My favorite is the salted caramel—a surprisingly complex flavor. The sample cup ladies were really nice too.
