Road closures and bus routes

Hi!

Does anyone know if the Lechmere bound 87 and 88 are making stops at Davis with the road closures? I know when they block Davis for Art Beat, they turn at Cameron Ave and go down to Mass Ave. But the MBTA website says to make connections at Broadway and Holland Ave so it sounds like the are going through Powder House to College, which means they might be dropping off at the College Ave Entrance.

Any first hand experience would be appreciated.

A sign at the Holland Street entrance says that the 87 and 88 buses are running down Broadway from Clarendon Hill to Powder House Circle, then down College Ave to Davis Square, then their normal route. Same detour going the other direction.

So yes, the eastbound buses will stop on College Ave. near Tedeschi's, and then at Dunkin Donuts. The westbound buses will make their usual stop in the busway.

Thanks! I didn't see a sign on Friday during my commute and I wasn't in Davis at all this weekend.

I took the 87 on my commute in this morning and can confirm this route. The bust driver announced it.

I guess the T decided that the detours for cars (Buena Vista to Meacham to Orchard to Day eastbound, College to Winter westbound) had turns too tight for their buses to use.
