Possible Stray in Teele/Trolley Square area. Last seen on Cameron St on Somerville/Cambridge line. Black with Dark brown and ginger patches and a white tail tip. Green eyes. First seen 12/31/11. Last seen 9/5/12.

On New Year's Eve this year, this sweet adult cat followed us home from Norton's Liquors. Ever since then, I've seen her every few weeks. She used to be very friendly and bigger but in recent months, she stopped letting us pet her and is starting to look thinner (could just be because it is summer). She doesn't have a collar so I assume she is stray. I'm starting to get worried about her and considering taking her to Saint Meow's or another local shelter when winter starts but I want to be completely sure she is a stray. Anyone recognize her or have any advice? (Also, not sure if the cat is female or not, but it felt weird to write "it").

Date: 2012-09-11 06:06 pm (UTC)I wonder if she belonged to someone local who moved out once the school year was over, and she's been fending for herself over the summer. Alternately, that some asshole people have been throwing rocks at her or something equally as awful.
