Jun. 16th, 2005 11:35 ami hate to post another transportation question, but i figure the people living in the square have a better idea of buses over any realtors or mbta maps. this is the last one, i promise:
how might one get from the following places to harvard square:
-cedar street near broadway
-main street near broadway
i don't mind walking a bit to get to the best bus routes, but i'm keeping winter in mind.
thanks again and i hope it's not too obnoxious that i've posted this here.

It's the mbta's Trip Planner page. If you give it a wide enough window of time, you can see a few possible routes.
Hope it helps!

Date: 2005-06-16 05:27 pm (UTC)If you don't mind a walk, though, its about 1-1 1/2 miles from Cedar to Porter Sq. And then the 77/96/T from there.

Date: 2005-06-16 10:44 pm (UTC)A strange alternate option from Cedar St. would be to take the 80 to Lechmere, then the 69 to Harvard. But walking from there to Davis or Porter is fairly reasonable.
