seeking roommates, north somerville, available now

we have had some problems finding roommates; had a couple acceptances who then disappeared. really odd.

anyway, we are moved in, and one room in this apartment is still available: http://davis-square.livejournal.com/2991279.html

$650 a month for 1 room, $750 if you are interested in both of the basement rooms. The roommate who has joined me is an opera singer who works for a non-profit downtown. She has two cats, which is the apartment maximum.

Unfortunately, a verbal acceptance not being honored is not unusual. I would require last month's rent before taking it off the market. I wouldn't verbally hold it for more than 24 hours, ideally less.

I understand. and I did not; but when looking for a roommate compatibility is also an issue. I had misjudged, and it was better to learn ahead of time ;-)
