Subject line says it all really but here are the full details... thanks, James Fox (President of the Friends)
The Friends of the Somerville Public Library will hold their Fall Used Book Sale on Friday October 26th 12-4 PM, Saturday October 27th 10-4 PM, and Sunday October 28th 1:30-3:30 PM. The sale will be held at the Central Library located at 79 Highland Avenue (bus #88 or #90). Supporting Members of the Friends (those with memberships of $50 or more) are invited to attend a preview evening on Thursday October 25th from 5-8pm.
This year’s collection of books for sale include most categories, but is particularly strong in History, Biography, Literature, Fiction, and as always plenty of VHS tapes, CD’s and DVD’s! Most items are $2. All proceeds from the book sale are used to support cultural and educational programs at the library including the popular Museum Pass Program. Leftover books will be donated to local non-profit groups. Please contact the Friends to be considered.
The Friends of the Somerville Public Library is a not-for-profit organization that helps the library and its branches to provide programs, services and materials not covered by the library's normal operating budget. If you would like to become a member of the Friends, or volunteer to help with the book sale, please contact the Friends by email at: FriendsSomervillePublicLibrary@gmail.com or follow us at facebook.com/FriendsOfTheSomervillePublicLibrary
If you are still reading... and would like a copy of the Fall 2012 library newsletter it can be found on the front of the SPL website, or here.

Date: 2012-10-03 07:34 pm (UTC)An lj-cut puts part of a post behind a link that one can click through to expand. If you want to add one, you can put <lj-cut text="Optional text for cut link here"> at the beginning of the section you want to cut, and </lj-cut> at the end of the section you want to cut. (You can drop the text="..." section if you just want LJ's default "Read more".)
