If you walk by the former Social Security office at 240 Elm Street, you may notice that all the lights are on and people are hanging paintings on the walls. They are getting ready for an art auction tomorrow night called Night In The Box. All of the art is by graduate students at Mass. College of Art and Design, and the event is a benefit for scholarships in that program.
Tickets are a pretty outrageous $50, but if you show up earlier in the afternoon (before doors officially open at 6:30), they may let you wander around for free to just look at the art.
