7-Eleven moving in to the old White Hen building

Apparently it got franchised? Signs have now been installed, and the place was crawling with workmen and materials today (Wed Nov 14) when I went past on the bus around noon. The parking lot was completely full of vehicles and boxes and large parsels in pallet wrap.

Still listed as available for franchise, with an estimated opening date of December 12. The last time I looked on this list, the estimated opening date was November 12, a deadline they obviously didn't meet.

It's a half-block from my apartment, so I'm looking forward to finally having it open, however much longer it takes.

With all love to Nimah Market and Pemberton Farms, it'll be kind of nice to have a convenience store in the neighborhood that isn't mostly luxury goods or Bangladeshi foods.

As construction progresses, I see this 7-Eleven will have public restrooms! Never seen that in a convenience store before.
