The Friends of the Somerville Public Library are pleased to announce two more events in the ongoing Talk Design series, as featured recently on Dwell.com.

December 1st: "The Story of Cuppow" - In January 2012 industrial designers Joshua Resnikoff and Aaron Panone invented a mason jar drinking lid, and leveraged its release with the combined talents of their partners at Fringe in Union Square. They will speak about being a local business, tell the product's creation story, and the demands and rewards of "collaboration." Their letterpress-packaging-magician Mike Dacey will also be in attendance. Social hour afterwards courtesy of Culinary Cruisers/Kombucha and Q's Nuts.

December 22nd: "A celebration of Kodachrome and why it went away." Steve and Amber Tourlentes (Somerville residents and lecturers at MassArt) will discuss Kodachrome vs. Ektachrome, digital editing, simulating the Kodachrome palette (Instragram), and more...

Both events occur at 3 p.m. on their respective days, at the Central Branch of the Somerville Public Library (79 Highland Avenue, Somerville, MA). Bus #88 or #90.
