Experienced Nanny / Pet-Sitter For Hire

Hi everyone! Long time lurker, first time poster. I didn't see anything against this type of post in the rules, but if it's not allowed, mods, feel free to delete!

Basically, I'm a part-time nanny in the Somerville/Medford area, and I'm trying to expand my services. I currently work for a lovely family I found on care.com; however, I'm only working part time and I need to supplement my income. So if you need (or have friends who need) a weekend/date night sitter, please contact me! I can give you a full list of credentials upon contact, but the short of it is that I am a 29 y/o female, in graduate school, with three years of previous experience, plus the aforementioned nannying job. And yes, I am CPR/First-Aid trained and certified. So if you are planning to hit some holiday parties, or just want to get out on a weekend, and need someone to watch the kids, I'm your girl.

Additionally, I also have experience in pet-sitting and dog-walking, so if anyone is looking for either a regular or one-time pet sitter (need someone to feed your pets while you take a holiday vacation?) don't hesitate to contact me as well! Comment or PM me here for more information/email.

There is a Somerville Moms Yahoo group/listserv that I just joined ("SomervilleMoms"). I bet some folks on there would be very interested in hiring you. I'm not sure how to best contact them to offer your services without joining the group - maybe send a message to one of the moderators? You should be able to find the group by searching for it on yahoo groups.

Those not in the SomervilleMoms Yahoo group can ask the moderator, or any list member, to forward a relevant message. Parents on the list are frequently looking for child care!

Hi! Do you pet sit kitties who have special needs? My cat needs an asthma inhaler twice a day. I need someone to pet sit a few times a year and finding someone who will tend to my cat is hard. Would you PM me? Thanks! :)
