Apartment Share available Jan. 1 in West Somerville, $550/mo. + utils. 31-yo F, 2-yo F and cat looking for a single M or F to share our 2-bedroom apartment. 2nd-Fl., w/front & rear balconies & backyard, 10 min walk to Davis Sq., 15 to Porter. Common areas are eat-in kitchen (w/my office space), living room w/TV/VCR, bathroom w/tub. Hardwood floors throughout. Available bedroom is facing the backyard, about 10X12, with a small closet and two (newish) windows. Washer-dryer and some storage space in basement, on-street parking. We split the RCN bill: $95/mo. for cable modem/TV, & local phone. If you have a computer, you can network it to mine; if not, you can borrow mine when I don't need it for work. I work from home. Ilana (my kid) is here all day Mon. and Tues, as well as every other weekend. Although I make an effort to be a considerate roommate, having a toddler, I can't keep things perfectly quiet or neat all the time. But she is a truly exceptional kid and great fun to have around. I am, and would hope you'd be: smart, arty, spiritual (me in the Jewish/Pagan sense), reasonably neat, fun, and someone who enjoys eating well and sharing meals. We are omnivorous, but can appreciate vegetarian food. I am very open-minded about different beliefs, sexualities and lifestyles - but no smokers/heavy drinkers/illegal drug do-ers, please. I have people over from time to time, and very occasional parties (like twice a year) - you are welcome to do the same. I would prefer no more cats, but a small pet is OK.
