Free stuff on Rice Street in Cambridge

As of now, if you walk down Rice St. almost to the end, you'll find some nice blue plates, a red Ikea end table on casters, a box of tapes and magazines (including a lot of old Punk Planets), some shoes, a two-way window fan, and some other stuff. All free on the right-hand sidewalk.

Could not resist a book by Marshall McLuhan called The Medium is the Massage. And I must be old because I remember The Weekly Week. I'll probably leave both the books and newspapers at Diesel or True Grounds after I've finished reading them.

Oh man, I haven't heard mention of The Weekly Week in ages. Didn't realized it was only around for a couple years.

The two issues I found on Rice Street are dated 10/22 and 11/5, both 1998. If you want to see them, I can pass them on to you. Let me know.

(And they are Volume II, Nos. 4 and 5, which means they weren't actually weekly.)
