Hi- I am looking to build a deck and was wondering if anyone knows good places to get wood/lumber. Thank you!

Yes.

Anderson & McQuaid: http://www.andersonmcquaid.com -- they do a lot of molding but also dimensional lumber. They have some exotic hardwoods and decorative materials but also your basic pine, poplar, etc. As well as regular domestic hardwood.

For really fancy wood, Longleaf Lumber - www.longleaflumber.com/ has reclaimed and eco-friendly wood products. Also really great service.

Waltham Lumber is fairly awesome, especailly if you are looking for basic materials.

Word of advice: Do not order lumber from Home Depot or Lowe's for delivery (where they choose the lumber) - 80-90% of it will be crooked/warped/garbage. You CAN go to the store, pick out what you need, then bring it to customer service to have it delivered (or just rent a truck).

Longleaf is great, but I would never go there for deck material as they are very expensive for more the ordinary stuff, even for a recycler/reclaimer. You'd be better off with TS Mann out of Western Mass (who'll deliver)

There is also Arlington Coal and Lumber over Arlington. They seem to have most everything you would need to build a deck. Not sure how their pricing compares to other sources though.

I got Trex (composite) stuff from Lowe's for deck flooring (don't really need to worry about warping with that). I chose them over Home Depot mostly because I found the staff there to be knowledgeable and helpful, while Home Depot always told me the guy who knew anything would be in some other day.

My favorite "local" place is Friend Lumber in Burlington. Quality is good and the prices as good or better than HD/Lowes.

If you're looking for mahogany decking and are willing to travel a bit further, Highland Hardwood in Brentwood NH is about an hour away and has the best prices I've found (and incredible selection). Their pricelist is on the web at http://highlandhardwoods.com

I agree with the suggestion to avoid Home Depot - their lumber has always been lousy, and incredibly (given how bad it used to be), has actually managed to get even worse in the last few years.
