We had some getting work done upstairs, resulting in the disconnection of one old (classic, antique) radiator. The guy who did the work did not take the radiator with him, an I thought I could call the radiator place in Union to come and take it. However, it seems they won't come for just one.

So, does anyone want to take a really heavy radiator off our hands and go sell it at the radiator place for $35? Or maybe you collect them yourself? Or maybe you will take pity on a young couple expecting a baby, oh, any day now, and get this thing out of our bedroom? :-)

If nothing else pans out, scrappers will take it. You can probably flag one down as they drive down your street the night before trash night and get them to carry it out. alternatively, posting it free to scrappers on craigslist noting they have to carry it out should get it picked up pretty darn quickly!

and they'll buy the radiator for $35?! that's a good deal, we sold them 8 or 9 for $125 last year (they came and picked them up).

What are the dimensions (and approx weight)? I actually have a project in mind that requires one, but I'd only be able to get it if I can carry it on my own (I don't think my wee wifey would appreciate being asked to help bring it in, so up to 150# would be no problem)
