Neighborhood meeting 4/23 on Flatbread/Sacco's Bowl-Haven expansion

While walking down Day Street, I saw this leaflet stuck in the front fence of an apartment building:

There will be a Neighborhood Meeting regarding the proposed expansion of Flatbread to be located at 49 Day Street, Somerville

Sponsored by Ward 6 Alderman Rebekah Gewirtz

Flatbread representatives, their attorney and the Architect shall be present to speak with neighbors and answer any questions.

When: Tuesday, April 23, 2013 - 6 pm
Where: 49 Day Street

What an opportunity for an already-great business to expand. Are you hearing about any opposition to it, Ron? I'm going to try to make it to the meeting...just don't tell anyone in Ward 5 ;)

I don't know why anyone would oppose this, but it's a good idea to meet with the neighbors before proceeding to a zoning hearing. I plan to speak in support.

Hurray! I like the idea of this. I quite enjoy the candlepin bowling, but it's hard to get a lane sometimes. This will make it far more accessible to the community. Great. :)

I wonder if it's to add more lanes or just more bar/restaurant space. It hasn't been that long since they demolished a bunch of lanes! :)

The Sacco's employees I talked to in January said the expansion would add seven more lanes.
