Events around Davis

What is the best source for finding events to do around Davis (or Porter?) on a Fri or Sat night? Is there one source for all music shows, events, etc?

Also, where is the best place around Davis to hang out (and meet people?) on a Sat night? Thanks.

DigBoston.com has concert listings still, I think. Phoenix used to but they just shut down...

College radio websites are another good bet. WERS.ORG has a show listing...

BostonHassle.com is worth checking out, as is their monthly print publication, Boston Counter-Cultural Compass. I've found the Compass at places like Mr. Crepe and Bloc 11. These are not specific to Davis and Porter.

I can tell you that this weekend the Post Meridian Radio Players have a show right there on Elm street across from the Rosebud. You get to see them make the sound effects and everything!
