davis_squareJust wanted to share that Stop & Shop has now put up signs at the old Foodmaster location at Rt. 16 and Broadway, stating that the new store is "Coming Soon!". Also, as an update to the previous post about this store, S&S has reached an agreement with their workers' union without any strikes.
I emailed them to ask if they have a timeline for when this store will open, but they haven't emailed me back yet. I'll update this post once they do!
Update: Their email said "We do not have a firm opening date at this time, however, we hope to open the store before the end of the year. As you may know, many unforeseen events can affect the completion of a new store. We hope to serve you soon at the new location."
