Anyone have a LaCie power supply I can borrow or test with my hard drive?

My LaCie backup hard drive will not spin up; it makes funny noises every 2 seconds or so while trying to do so. I've heard that the problem may be the power supply rather than the disk. Does anyone have this LaCie power supply that I can borrow for a few minutes, to see whether my drive will come alive again? Thanks.

Oh huh, I have a LaCie drive that I figured was toast too. Do you still have the borrowed power supply? Might I borrow it too?

I'm actually overdue to return this thing to the nice person I borrowed it from (and to buy a replacement from LaCie or a local store). But let me put you in touch with him in a couple of days.
