Hello --

So I was walking down College Ave today and saw about 10-15 different dentist offices. It got me thinking that I need one and was wondering if anyone could recommend a dentist in the area? It doesn't necessarily have to be close, teeth are important, I'll travel, but there seem to be unusual amounts of dentists between davis and powderhouse and maybe one of them would be right?

I've been going to Dr. Maurice Zylber in Central Sq (behind the post office) for about 10 years. He's great. No idea on price comparisions (how do dentists establish their prices anyway)

I was referred to Dr. Casey Cook at Davis Square Dental by a post I saw in b0st0n ages ago singing his praises. I've been going to him for over a year and a half now, and I've consistently been thrilled by him and his staff (Meg is my hygienist). I've referred two different friends to him now, and they've been thrilled as well.

I've had good experiences at North Cambridge Dental on Mass Ave. I've only been for a few visits, but they were all good. He plays WBUR in the office while he works on you :-)

I've had no complaints with Gentle Dental in Porter. I went to a dentist in Ball Square briefly, but didn't care for him.

I had a bad experience (dentist, billing, scheduling, etc) with Gentle Dental, and switched to elsewhere.
