Community Path Extension groundbreaking! This Monday 5/13 at 6 pm

The city will hold an official groundbreaking ceremony this Monday at 6 pm for the extension of the Community Path from Cedar Street to Lowell Street. The ceremony will take place at the intersection of the Community Path and Cedar Street.

Yes, and I believe it was produced by the Maxwell Green folks. At least they have been using it in their materials and online.

I'd say that it's in front of the Maxwell's Green development, looking east towards the Lowell Street underpass. (Beyond which the path, for now, will take a U-turn and climb a 'switchback' to get up to Lowell Street.)

Oh, yay! I didn't realize they were that close to starting work.

The plan is to finish work this year. Ditto for the 'Wellington underpass', a bike/ped path which will connect Assembly Square to Shore Drive in Ten Hills by going under Route 28.
