Hi all,
I'm posting to DSLJ because our Arlington group (at least when I was in it, in 2011-12) had a lot of crossover with Somerville!

Elise, the longtime moderator/gem of the Friday morning JF&CS group at the Calvary church is moving to Seattle. Many of us are thankful for her 10+ years of volunteer service and are having a fun informal reunion in her honor this Thursday at Magnolia, starting at 4:30 PM.

For more information (including info about the scrapbook in progress - deadline is today or arrive early at the event):

To RSVP to the reunion (recommended!)

Hope to see you there!
-Karin and other grateful Arlington-area parents

PS: please pass this along to other parents that you know!

For those of us not familiar with them, can you tell us what JF&CS are?

Did you try posting to the SomervilleMoms email list too? (I only skim it, and might have missed it, as I attended the Somerville one.) If you need a list member to post it for you, I'd be happy to.

I would add, in case anyone besides Ron is curious, that the social service agency and the support group in Arlington, and the support group in Somerville, serve everyone in the community. The "Jewish" is because its run by a Jewish agency which is presumably involved in services like this in a religious-ish mission of doing good in the world, not because it's only for Jewish families and children.
