Vet Recommendation

I just found out my vet at Porter Square Vet has left. I'm fine with returning there (it's close to home) but was wondering who else goes there and has a vet they like? I have heard one guy who works there is pretty bad, so I don't want to just make an open appt.

Dr. Stewart was the one who left.

Dr. Parker is wonderful. Dr. Cohen is iffy, at least with cats.

Right near porter square is Cambridge Pet Care. Dr. Weiner is the vet there and he's wonderful. it would mean switching places, but all they need are copies of your pet's records and they're good to go.

Dr. Bujalski came recommended to me by a co-worker 11 years ago and I've been using him rather exclusively ever since with my now 4 cats.

Bujalski - good with dogs, too

Seconding the recommendation for Dr. Bujalski. He's been eight-year-old Strummer's vet since I adopted her last year. My sister-in-law recommended him: her dogs have been his patients for years. Best wishes to you and your pet!

Dr. Leavey is protogeek's vet. Well, her two cats' vet. I've only met her once, but she comes highly recommended and certainly seemed on the up-and-up. Especially with a very cranky asshole of a cat.
