The Somerville Squeezebox Slam, this afternoon (Saturday 6/15), is "a celebration of accordions, button boxes and other free standing reed instruments".

From 1 to 3 pm, it's an unstructured "stroll around Somerville, ultimately congregating in Davis Square". From 3 to 6 pm, it's in Seven Hills Park, with this schedule:

I don't know if I'll make it down, but I have to say, an accordion slam is the awesomest thing I've ever heard of in my life. Love this insane town. :-)
