I'm looking for Mosquito Dunks or Bits (preferably Mosquito Bits) to control the fungus gnats that recently took up residence in my container garden. Are there any local stores that carry them?

I have seen them in Tags before, but have not looked this year.

The BTi bacteria in Mosquito Dunks is incredibly species specific, affecting certain biting flies but not affecting dragonflies or spiders or other mosquito predators. Are you sure it will work on your gnats?

Also, I'm pretty sure that putting down a layer of sand on the surface is enough to contorl them.

I get my Mosquito Dunks from Amazon (free shipping with Amazon Prime). Our family has some property near the New Hampshire border and some swamps, and 20 Mosquito Dunks once a month for 6 months a year seem to work well.

Until I saw the "fungus gnats" section, I thought this was the worst new product by Dunkin Donuts ever.
