Hello Davis Square!

I've got three rooms available near Clarendon Hill that need to be filled by 9/1. Price range is $550-$650, depending on the room. There are three rooms on the first floor, all sharing one full bath, with a fourth bedroom in the basement with its own (3/4) bath. There is off street parking for up to three cars and plenty of street parking otherwise. All rooms are decently spacious and can handle queen sized beds with ease.

I do have a moderately fluffy dog. He's very friendly, but not hypoallergenic.

It's very T friendly, with a 12 minute walk to Davis, or 5 minute ride on the 87 or 88.

I have not really considered whether I am kid friendly before. I do tend to have parties in which alcohol is consumed and people are up late, which isn't wonderful for young people with bed times, but my gatherings are also pretty tame as we are geeks. I swear a lot too.

I'd have to know what sort of guidelines the parent has before I can say whether or not I can agree with them.

That makes sense. Some people are pretty knee-jerk on the no kids thing, so I wasn't sure whether you had strong feelings one way or the other.

The kid will be 3 in October. I enjoy beer and geeky people, so that is probably not a giant issue as long as it isn't crazy alcoholic ragers every night. Also, I don't give a fuck about swearing :)

Potential kid-related issues: We need laundry on site, because messes happen. I'm looking for a place with a yard, though I know that's rare in Somerville. Kid is up early in the morning and it's not always easy to keep him quiet. Any problems so far?

There is no laundry on site. It's a pain in the ass. Additionally, the back yard is not child safe. There is all sorts of crap back there from broken coffee mugs half buried in the ground to a rusted out support that was never removed.
