Theatre@First Shakespeare Slam THIS SUNDAY!

Hello, everyone!

This coming Sunday, August 18th, your local thespians from Theatre@First are proud to bring you a SHAKESPEARE SLAM at The Burren (247 Elm St.)! But what IS a Shakespeare Slam, you ask? Why, it's an afternoon of open-mic theater, with a special eye toward the Bard! So if you like:

-Open Mic Readings

-One Act Plays

-Sketch Comedy
-Trivia Games

-Shakespeare

or all of the above, then come see what we have to offer!

***ALL WELCOME, none judged!***

Admission Price: $10 GENERAL, $8 STUDENT (with ID), and only $5 if you PERFORM a monologue or a scene or read a sonnet (we'll have a batch in a basket on hand!) Proceeds will benefit T@F's fall production of Twelfth Night (going up in September - details found at www.theatreatfirst.org)

Time: 1 PM - 5 PM

Yes, I will very likely do so. I am just going skydiving this weekend, and I didn't know this was happening until it got posted here.
