I'm leaving the Davis area and moving to NYC, where places are teeny and rent is high, so I'm sloughing off a lot of furniture: couch, chairs, table, bookshelves;
also some electronics, including a scanner and possibly a CPU, and books, women's clothes, a couple DVDs, odds and ends and kitchen articles.

What are the specs on the scanner and CPU?

The CPU: I attempted to get it working today, but I'm not that great at computers. It's got an 800 Mhz Athlon processor and a fairly new motherboard; 128 ram; soundblasters audio card; ethernet card. All this stuff should be working. The hard drive is a 30 gig one, and is what's currently not working, but I suspect that's a software issue. There's also a DVD drive; the CDRW drive has been removed because it no longer works.

Basically, since I can't get it running, I'm offering it for $15 as is. A reinstall should fix it.

The scanner: HP Scanjet 4200C. It's quite old, but I can guarantee that this one works. I'm only selling it because I switched to Mac, and there are no drivers for it for OSX. There are drivers for all the Windows OS's that you can download for free quite easily, I checked yesterday. I had been using it with one of those.

Warning about the bookshelves, at least one is way too heavy to move with one normal human. But it's a big sucker, it's over a foot deep and 6' tall.

As for showing up early... em... I don't get up very early, sorry! But if you want to, show up at around 10 of 9, I should be setting up then.

Are the chairs and table the type that would work on a covered porch?

I currently use the wicker chair in a living room, but it's not nice and soft. I don't think I have anything that's going to make you happy in that respect, sorry.
