New Hampshire query

I realize this is rather far afield from Davis Square, but can anyone in the community recommend a decent, affordable b & b in New Hampshire, preferably one on a lake or the coast? Thanks.

So I'm not as familiar with NH, but I can strongly recommend The Chebeague Orchard Inn on Chebeague Island in Maine. You get there by ferry. You can rent bikes on the island but honestly, it's small. You can really walk almost anywhere you want to go.

You can stay in the big Inn, but that's much more expensive. The BnB is also more fun.

It's a beautiful place, I've been twice and loved it each time.

I'm fond of Cabernet Inn in North Conway. It's it the lake or coast, but still a very pretty area.

We enjoyed the Riverbend, in Chocorua, but I'm not sure it counts as affordable.

It's supposedly reasonable to get to the Chebeague Island ferry without a car, if you take a bus or train to Portland. Though I don't know the details of getting from the bus/train station to the ferry dock.

Woodbound Inn, rindge nh. Got married there. Lake, cabins, fancy rooms, & budget rooms. Good food, peaceful. You can rent canoes & kayaks, climb mt monadnock, etc.

My friend's dad lives on Chebeague. There are two ferries, and I think the Portland one is easier to get to without a car.
