davis_squareSomerville Wards 1, 3, and 5 will hold preliminary elections next Tuesday, September 24. In Wards 1 and 3, the election will reduce the number of ward-alderman candidates to two. In Ward 5, the election is for School Committee.
I made a long post about the election last month, with lists of and links to all of the candidates. It didn't get much discussion at the time, maybe because it was August. Now might be a good time to start paying attention.
