You'll get a bit hosed at any of the local places; Schlockin' Bob's is a straight rip-off, I'm not sure that Guitar Stop buys anything used(check with them), Wood and Strings...meh. Guitar Center pays the lowest of the low(national chain). If you want to get any decent amount of money, I'd sell it yourself through Craigslist; a little more work for a lot more cash. Alternately, if you're willing to head outside the city, The Music Box in Plymouth is run by a couple of dudes who have been pretty fair to me in buying and selling in the past.
Mike's Monster Guitar (http://mikesmonsterguitar.com) has opened in the former space of Sandy's Music near Central Square. Mike worked at Sandy's as a repairman.
I don't have personal experience, but they have two good reviews on Yelp, and some interesting guitars posted on their Facebook page (http://facebook.com/MikesMonsterGuitar).
