What is there to do around here Halloween night? I mean after giving kids candy and all that, are there costume-nights/events? Where do grown-ups play?

May I suggest Post-Meridian Radio Players' Night of the Living Dead at 8 pm ? Their page says there will be a costume contest, too.

I love PMRP shows, but I'm looking for something more interactive... like with dancing and interacting with people, rather than watching a show.

Folks are saying "every bar," but I rather suspect that going in to some bars in a wild costume will be all like Reese Witherspoon in that scene in Legally Blond. :)

Great Scott is having a big Halloween Bash, but that I wanted to see if there was something around here, first.

Alas, the Cirque of the Dead is gore and full of sociopath-terror-fun. So totally not something I can go to! (Fortunately their other show starting up in November will be much more miss_chance-fare!)

It's always Halloween night. I've never heard of it being any other night, except last year when Hurricane Sandy caused lots of power outages and some towns officially postponed it.

Halloween Bike Ride. Two different starting points, but Davis Square folks will probably prefer the one in Dewey Square (South Station), 7:30 pm.

If not, backing the suggestion to hit up the PMRP show on Halloween night. 11/1 there's a rock show a little further afield at the Cantab in Central Square which ought to be fun, but obviously not right there on Halloween night.
