Davis Square design meeting this Wednesday 11/13 at the Armory

The next “Somerville by Design: Davis Square” meeting will be held this Wednesday, November 13th, from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

The meeting will be held at Arts at the Armory (191 Highland Avenue).

This meeting will be structured as an open house-style plan presentation meeting to allow everyone to dig into the topics they care most about and continue to refine the ideas that we’ve been working on together.

For those of us West of Davis Sq., there is also a neighborhood ResiStat meeting the same evening. I understand that not only our lame-duck Ward Alderman, but also our Ward Alderman-elect, Katjana, will be there. Here is the email from the city.

Hello, this is Jackie Rossetti from the City of Somerville calling to invite you to the Ward 7 ResiStat community meeting for residents of west Somerville and the Teele Square area on Wednesday, Nov. 13. Join Mayor Joseph Curtatone and Ward 7 Alderman Bob Trane at the West Somerville Neighborhood School at 177 Powderhouse Blvd. from 7 to 8:30 p.m. to discuss neighborhood and citywide issues. The agenda includes an interactive data exercise to find out what you like about your neighborhood, the latest crime data, a look at the recent gains in MCAS growth scores in the public schools, and updates on projects including the Green Line Extension, North Street park, and the Powderhouse School. Please also join us before the meeting from 6:30 to 7 p.m. for refreshments, pizza and a chance to speak one-to-one with City officials.
