On Shabbat, December 7th, 2013, over a hundred Jewish communities throughout North America will be gathering for the sixth annual Human Rights Shabbat, an initiative of T'ruah (formerly Rabbis for Human Rights), to educate about and advocate for the Jewish value of universal human rights. Havurat Shalom will host a special study session after Shabbat services and a potluck lunch, to affirm and confirm our community's commitment to fighting for human rights. We hope you'll join us!
